Finally decided to pick up a Guitar again after buying them in the past and not bothering to put in the time to learn.
Was searching for ages for a good Acoustic Guitar at a reasonable price and this is it!
Can't wait to start lessons, must buy for anyone wanting to play.

Good Guitar

| This is a very good guitar for all skill levels; the guitar looks and sounds very good and has low action so its easier for people with smaller hands (like me )to hold chords. The tuning heads are very strong and stay in tune. The only slightly bad thing is the strings already fitted on which are not a very big problem but a capo can solve it and you can play many more songs. The stand is very good and foldable and has a plectrum folder, the tuner is quite good which tunes bass guitar as well as standard but i would of liked it if it does other kinds of tuning, along with the spare guitar strings and strap with a bunch of plectrums. Although the DVD wasn't very good. |

this is a really really cool package for beginners, guitar itself sounds great, for not a lot of money. I was worried it wouldn't sound good for that amount of money, but it really does! and the overall package is really good; the stand is really good, really good strings for beginners, good case, plectrums are a bit rubbish but we can forget about that as everything else is top dollar :)
Highly recommended for beginners/anyone on a budget |
Good guitar that stays in tune well.

I'm please with this guitar. It's well made and all the kit with it is fine. The tuner is very primitive but it does work. However you need to know where abouts the tension of the string is or you can get totally random results when putting new strings on, if you are a complete novice this could be very confusing and you may think it doesn't work.
DVD is ok to get you started and it is for a complete novice and it would take long to master most of it, IF you put the practice in.
It also stays in tune pretty well and doesn't need constant tuning. It sounds fine to me but I haven't had that much experience with other guitars so I couldn't give you an honest opinion on that.
Its a good brand which is one of the main reasons I bought it over cheaper alternatives.

Excellent starter kit

Excellent kit for the price.
The stand is well worth the extra money from the starter kit, it saves leaning the guitar up against stuff.
If you are new to the guitar or like me, getting back into playing, the strings are very thick and do hurt the tips of fingers for a week or so of regular play.
If you are concerned about breaking your finger tips in, I would suggest buying an electic guitar which generally has much thinner strings.
Overall, I would recommend this guitar kit. |
