Good HD camcorder, bought specifically for my 7 year old daughter, easy to use, so ideal for her and the 270 degrees swivel lens comes in handy as an on/off switch and protects the lens when not in use, although lens seems generic, better if it comes with a premium lens. As with most sony cam, comes with a separate battery charger. would be nice to charge from a USB. Its also a bit bulky but light weight. Got it for a good price, bought from a high street electronics store, but not worth the RRP.
Okay but limited capability

I was really impressed with the microphone and sound quality on the videos. The cam is limiting however in that you cannot video very much as the screen is so small. I took better videos with my Sony Ericsson camera phone.
Style over substance

This little gismo looks so cute when you take it out of the box, and it's very light too. Lovely piece of design, but unfortunately it's all downhill from there. This really is little more than a kid's toy and is a poor performer. Why buy a tiny camcorder when you can have a brilliant stills camera of astonishing quality that also shoots 720p HD video? Swapped my Sony for the brilliant tiny metal Canon Ixus 130.
Truly awful stay away,unusable

Really bad bit of kit,i was torn between this Sony Bloggie and a Flip,my son has the flip ,i was leaning toward the flip HD.
Instead i got the bloggie, its really bad in a well light room the images are so dark you cant even make out a shape, its as bad as those cut price supermarket mini-cams.
I havent used the Flip HD but my sons flip is very superior in almost every way to the Bloggie HD,please save your money or at least see one demo'ed in store be fore you buy.
Sony on this item seem to be all about on paper figures but it reality this things is that bad id say its unusable |
easy to use

this little snapshot camcorder is extremely easy to use, simply flip the screen round to turn on, take pictures too, just a shame there is no flash so only 4 stars instead of 5, still cant go wrong buying this

Video Snapshot Mode is another impressive feature, exclusive to Canon. It allows cinemaniacs to shoot short movie clips in the same nature that they would shoot still pictures with a SLR camera. Es
