I love this album. I liked the first 4 tracks initially but the rest have grown on me. I love the George Micheal feel, the pet shop boys influence as well as big band Robbie!!
Welcome back Mr Williams |

| I have never owned a Robbie CD before and i viewed the songs on here before i bought it. In fact i like it more than i thought. Normally on a CD you get a few songs you don't like, but all the songs are great and i really like this album! Highly recommend it! |
Return to form for Robbie

| A very good and long awaited return to form from Robbie Williams. Rudebox was, for the most part, disappointing but this is a much stronger effort. The only reason I'd give this album four stars rather than five is that there doesnt seem to be a BIG hit single on here in the same vein as Angels, but there are plenty of tracks that will do ok in the top ten. Good job! |

It's a shame that his record label don't cut him loose, then at least we wouldn't be subjected to a new album every couple of years as RW tries to oblige his paymasters. What annoys me is the constant drone on radio and television of RW gurning his way through some boring track or another when he really doesn't need to bother. His dribbling fans will buy any old drivel he comes out with regardless of quality, so why make the effort to fly over here when he could just as easily sulk in LA and wait for the cheques to come rolling in.
As for the album, you may have guessed but I don't like it one little bit. His quasi-American accent simply makes his childish lyrics sound even more absurd and the over produced music is a like a car crashing into a wall of sound. Painfully bad throughout, but does make rather good landfill fodder. |

| COMING TO A CHARITY SHOP BARGAIN BIN NEAR YOU! its the talentless arrogant middle of the road mediocre peddling idiot known as Robbie Williams. Yet more overblown over produced style over substance rubbish we've come to expect from this moron. Why do people buy this? I personally think anyone that thinks 'angels' is a good song should be shot. Not what you'd call a take that fan by any stretch but at least they had energy and melody.. this guy disowned them because he wanted to be 'cool' and not playing embarrassing music.. erm.. pot calling kettle black i think! |
