New Games [August - October 2011] Finally! I have returned from the depths of notebook hell. My old Dell notebook died on me a few weeks back and I was unable to release any videos. I have seriously tried to render an update video for 5 times. Luckily I finally bought myself a new notebook (HP Pavilion G6-1141SD) and video editing/rendering has been extremely smooth now! I have been working on this video and the 4 RPGibberish episodes previously unreleased. The upcoming months will see me pick up: Uncharted 3 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 DoDonPachi Resurrection Professor Layton and the Specter’s Flute Persona 2 Innocent Sin Collector’s Edition (if region-free) DeathSmiles II These games are pre-ordered and paid for so it is just waiting for these wonderful games to be dropped in my mailbox. I have to admit I have no interest in Xenoblade, I just want Last Story. I don’t have a Wii but if that one is released I’m definately getting one. Especially since they’re already $70 used.

@Aerodynamisch The first Rune Factory on the Wii was more close to the Harvest Moon type gameplay, but the new one that came out put more emphasis on the plot and action rpg aspect of the game.

Gears 3 is great. Im playing the campaign on insane. When you meet the Formers it gets WAY HARDER but not impossable

Muchi-Muchi Pork and Pink Sweets are indeed regionfree. I played MMP which is really hard but awesome. Only played one stage of Pink Sweets and it is really different. Strange shots etc. Gotta delve into that one after I am done with MMP. Be careful because the box cost me 115 euro

Trails in the Sky is still one of my favorite games of this year. Together with Xenogears and Dragon Quest IX these were the RPGs that got me back into RPG gaming this year. Now I am even hosting a RPG podcast of all things.
Cant wait for the Second Chapter and Third Chapter of this wonderful series.
@Ayob14 Thanks a lot! A small hiatus even though I didnt want it was nice. I will work on some RPG game reviews like I tried before the GamesCom footage. Even though I talked about a lot of these RPGs on RPGibberish there is some fantastic games to review.

The Cave shmups are realy good. I played Muchi Muchi Pork yesterday and it is really difficult. Going to play it some more and see how it is.
I heard some good and bad things on the other game in the pack Pink Sweets. It is really different from the other Cave shmup. Be careful because this box costs me a whopping 115 euro..

@Shintai123 Thanks a lot man! Rune Factory isnt that a Harvest Moon type spin-off? Looks like a nice game but I already have so many RPGs to play. I have stopped buying games that I dont want to play immediately. Otherwise my backlog keeps piling on and on.
I will continue on with Deus Ex and hopefull finish that before i get Uncahrted 3 and Modern Warfare 3.

@Dharoz The Fire Emblem series is great. I loved Shadow Dragon and cant wait to play more. I hope the fan translators finish the DS sequel soon!

I recently started using HP notebooks for my work and they are great. The Pavilion G6 that I have right now is a fantastic machine. Maybe I should have gotten a dedicated video card to play games but I prefer consoles anyway.
