Absolutely love this speaker....excellent sound quality...sounds like an expensive sound system....so good ended up buying one for my daughter as well and they love it too...not so sure my neighbours would agree as we leave them rockin!!!!

What a great piece of kit this is. Looks the business, operates easily and sounds superb. No problems with it cutting out on low sound passages as in other read reviews. If your looking for a sound system you can't go wrong with this one. Hope this helps on your decision.

I have waited a month to place my review having read others problems. I use my Jivebox with my Ipod touch and also my iphone 16g 3gs. Ipod works with no problems at all. Iphone when plugged in displays a message to say it isn't compatible with speakers ... although it works just fine? It won't charge the Iphone, but sometimes it will?? Don't know why this is ...
The sound is brilliant from such a small unit? It really is great sound, unbelievably so! I can actually 'feel' the bass from the unit thumping, vibrating the furniture, and yet from something around 7 inches cubed. I have had no problems with mine, and seriously considering a 2nd purchase for another room, although the sound will carry throughout the house.
One last thing that dawned on me that I thought I would share! When I played music loud, sometimes it would skip to the next track? I assumed it was a fault with the jivebox, but then! I tried switching off the 'shake to shuffle' feature on the Iphone! Yes, you guessed it, the bass produced from the speaker was activating this feature :) Sorted now ...

I'm on my second jive box as the first one just kept stopping. Logic sent me a new one which is just the same. I am getting no response from customer services. Having read other reviews on the jive box it would appear that it is an inherent problem,however Logic have refused to admit this. Whenever I do get hold of somebody to make a complaint, they insist the problem is with a) my MP3 player which is not an ipod b) the source of my music (all copied from CD). The MP3 player works perfectly well on other docking stations.
On the plus side, when it works it sounds good and before the problems started I was perfectly happy with it.
