Very close shave

Impressive shave with hardly any burn or drying. It's got a good solid feel and is non-slip with a good grip. The charge lasts a long time makign it very convenient for weekends away. It doesn't pull or tug and is pretty much exactly what it says on the box.

This is the first electric shaver I have bought for some years, relying on wet shaving in the past. This Braun Electric Shaver does what it says on the box. Not sure abour the automated cleaning process though, only time will tell. But it gives a really close shave, useful when you are in a hurry.

Being a wet shaver all my life and having to shave every single day I wanted something quick and fast but close to a wet shave as possible. After reading all the reviews I bought the item with some doubts about it's claims. My doubts were misplaced, this little bad boy is AMAZING. I usually shave against the grain for a super close shave but I am left a little sore faced after. The Braun gives me a super close shave and 95% close to a wet shave against the grain but without any of the soreness. I have corse stubble and sensitive skin and this shaver has really been a treat to use. The cleaning station is spot on and recommended.

Overhyped?

I bought this shavr a little over 2 months ago and was very much looking forward to its arrival after my remington shaver broke down last year. The hype surrounding this was incredible and I thought that I may have found my perfect razor. It arrived and after a quick hour charge I used it.... I wasn't actually that impressed. Admittedly, I haven't got the easiest of beards to shave and have had many a barber aghast at how many different directions my beard grows in but this took me almost twice as long to shave with than my old shaver.

On a positive, the cleaning system is amazing and leaves a nice lemony smell on the razor when you pick it up to use it but still, 2 months down the line and I am fighting with this on a Monday morning after a 3 day beard growth over a weekend which, considering that is one of the main selling points, is not great.

Very glad I bought it at half proice on here at 80 quid rather than full price of 160. I'll stick with it because the cleaning system saves a lot of hassle but I certainly wont be ramping up to a 5 star rating on this anytime soon.
