Sad about the search facility

A great tool - and toy.
One real sadness is that there seems to be no facility to search the address book for anything other than the name.
I can't look up a telephone number to see who it was who called.
I can't look up a town or village either to find a customer whose name I have forgotten or to arrange visits in a logical order.
A great ship, spoiled for lack of a ha'p'orth of tar. |
shiny

| This is a very nice little piece of equipment, very shiny and desirable. I'm glad to see they have removed "3rd gen" from the description because the 8GB model is not 3rd generation so it was a little misleading. What I like about iPods in particular is that they are ALL compatible with Audible audio books, whereas with other mp3 players and phones it's a bit of a lottery. This one is no exception, and it's a joy to use. It's very thin, very sleek and also very lose-able. My nephew lost his a few weeks after purchasing. He still maintains it's "mislaid" |

| Yes this is an impressive piece of Hi tech' hardware but there are problems such as trying to find a mains powered charger. Why don't Apple just supply one with the Ipod? all you get is a USB cable. I don't want to plug into the computer every time. and the after market chargers are rubbish. I have 4 of them bought specifically for my new Ipod and not one of them works. The new Ipod touch 3rd generation has a different charger to previous models and the suppliers who claim their chargers will charge these Ipods obviously haven't tried them. Pete |
Absolutely worth the price!

So, this invention of Apple is really amazing, beside several negative aspects, it is very classy thing. If you want something more than just a simple mp3 player, you should buy this one, it has everything, mostly (except digital camera, but I think that's not so important, cause usually people have their camera on the phone or separtely). Have a fun time with your new iPod Touch. I really recommend you to buy this gadget (8 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of your choise).
Pros: Big colourful screen, very thin, many functions (games, videos, internet).
Cons: The shiny back of it is very scratchy, so you should buy a case for it to protect it, what's more there is no card slots for external memory, which is really bad thing.
Thank you Amazon, the parcel was in great condition and delivery time was really short. |

i love this little machine!
since i first bought it last christmas, now my best friend and brother both have one.
fantastic for watching movies when travelling, and you can listen to music/podcasts for days without it needing charging.
if you buy it, you'll never want another mp3/video player-unless it's a better ipod touch! |
