| My wife is using this device and is very pleased with it. She intends to pick up her e mail wherever she goes using its Wifi capabilities. She is still learning to drive it but is getting more proficient by the day. A good device! |

. . .Its an Ipod. Its the best Ipod. Its the best mp3 player on the market. Its beautiful. Runs like a dream. Endless hours of playing around with it. . .only disappointment is that its not got an internal modem to play with it online on the go but then thats just gonna be asking to much.
If you don't have an Ipod yet. Get this one. And if you have a really old one, then upgrade to this one. No point getting it if you have a touch already. Unless you just like having the best version.
Enjoy!! |
Dont leave home with it

| I was very disappointed to find that the wi fi conection on my 2 month old I pod failed, never to rise again, after removing it from my pocket and switching it off with damp hands. That is the ammount of moisture you would get on your hands from opening a wet car door. Water damage is not covered by Apple's warranty, they dont repair them and charge you £140 to replace the item. Apples stance is very inflexible on this point. From their point of view you have to draw the line somwhere. Understandable if the product were immersed or "soaked" but come on I have Sony and Philips products that dont blink in the same operating situation. If you want to use it while walking the dog then be sure it isnt going to rain. In my experience it is not a portable device suited to the British climate. So if you wish to use it outside take a towel to dry your hands, and dont take it out of its protective case before switching off. |

Very happy with the purchase. The ipod touch is very responsive, never freezes, and is very user-friendly. Thousands of possible applications, some excellent, some useless, can be downloaded for free or pretty cheap. The touch screen is a joy to use, although when keying in information using the keyboard can sometimes be tricky - I usually hit the wrong letter at least a couple of times.
It's main drawback compared to the iphone is that it is dependant on a wifi network, and if you're not within range of one, then many/most of the applications do not work. At home, this isn't a problem, but when you're on the move, you have to bear it in mind. My only other gripe is that it should have an FM radio - I don't think that would have been difficult for the Apple boys to include, and it would have brought it closer to the perfect portable media player.
But all in all, an excellent wee piece of machinery providing unrivalled ease of use and countless hours of listening, surfing, map-plotting, fun and even making phone calls (via Skype) |
